Terraced Fields in Sapa

Sapa is a small city in the northwest region of Vietnam. Sapa serves as a trading place for several ethnic minority groups such as Hmong, Red Dzao, Tay and Xa Pho. I was inspired to create this piece from a trip to Sapa on May 2022. I was captured by the colorful traditional costumes of the local people and the naive yet happy children living in this region.
